The American Association of Zoo Veterinarians presents an in-depth, two-day course on exotic, zoo, and wild animal medicine Saturday, September 26 to Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the Red Lion Hotel On The River, Portland, Oregon. Class offers 14 hours of CE credits sponsored by the American College of Zoological Medicine.

The American Association of Zoo Veterinarians presents an in-depth, two-day course on exotic, zoo, and wild animal medicine Saturday, September 26 to Sunday, September 27, 2015.  Registration includes lecture materials, break refreshments, Sunday evening reception (AAZV Conference Icebreaker), and certificate of attendance for display in your practice.  Class offers 14 hours of CE credits sponsored by the American College of Zoological Medicine.

Housing: 

Rooms are sold out at the Red Lion Hotel at the conference rate. A limited number of rooms are available at the Oxford Suites (across the street) for $139/night. Call the hotel directly at (503) 283-3030 or toll free at (800) 548-7848 and mention American Association of Zoo Veterinarians in order to get this rate.

If the Oxford Suites hotel is sold out, you may find a roommate by going back to the Conference page on the AAZV web site and scroll down to the bottom where it says: "Need a Roommate for Conference?"

Red Lion Hotel Transportation to/from Portland Airport:

For Red Lion Hotel guests the shuttle runs from 6am to 11pm daily. The shuttle leaves the hotel on the hour and arrives at the airport on the half hour. When you arrive at the Portland Airport (PDX) please call the hotel at (503) 283-4466 to find out the ETA for the RED LION HOTEL ON THE RIVER JANTZEN BEACH arrival time. 

 

You will find the Red Lion Hotel - Jantzen Beach van outside baggage claim at Island 2 labeled Hotel Shuttles. Please note there are more than one Red Lion Hotel in the area and you MUST make sure you are on the van designated for Jantzen Beach. 

 

Shuttle reservations are made at the front desk for departures to the airport.
