vets4africa, leads small groups of up to 6 vets at a time to South Africa. The focus is primarily on the world famous Kruger National Park (KNP), private reserves adjacent to KNP, visiting a hands-on wild life rehabilitation center, a cheetah breeding center, reptile park, attend lectures, staying on site and tour of the world famous veterinary science university, and drives and walks through the bush.
At each scientific faculty or bush destination, specialists in their fields address, lecture and/or provide a hands-on-tour of animals and the ecology.
Under their guidance, this is a unique opportunity for other professionals to see under natural conditions, wild life management, including the survival and reproduction of mostly larger mammals and birds, let alone experience the exceptional beauty South Africa offers.
vets4africa arranges to accommodate each individual groups’ specific needs and interests and will accompany the group throughout the week long tour.
Many vets have brought along their families and turned this into a family holiday vacation. Some vets have come in groups made up of their own chosen colleagues. After the intense first week, some vets have chosen to go off to Cape Town or other parts of South Africa.
vets4africa also provides help and information for the rest of their journey. However, it is important to understand that Vets4africa specializes in wild life and the management thereof for professionals.
vets4africa would be happy to provide you with further information in terms of availability left for the 2006 season and costs, and at your request provide you with further information.
