AAZV Developing Nations Member, James Watuwa, of the Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Center in Kampala, Uganda and Wild Animal Health Fund grant recipient interviewed with podcaster Jon Rossi of Rossifari Podcast while at Conference in Nashville. In the podcast, they discuss what influenced James to become a zoo and wildlife veterinarian, where he went to school, the Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Center (known as UWEC Zoo) which is the only zoo in Uganda. They also discuss how James and his team strive to educate communities near and far about the animals and how important they are.
