2016 Conference Registration

**IMPORTANT** Please read the details below before you register.

Join your colleagues from American Association of Zoo Veterinarians (AAZV), the European Association of Zoo and Wildlife Veterinarians (EAZWV) and the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research (IZW) in the first ever Joint AAZV/EAZWV/IZW Conference, hosted by Zoo Atlanta and the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.  The AAZV Scientific Program Committee, along with members from EAZWV and IZW, have done a fantastic job of putting together a scientific program you will not want to miss.  Register soon so you don’t miss out on any of the 14 Workshops being offered, many with limited attendance.

For AAZV members this registration is opening sooner than usual.  For EAZWV members, it’s later than usual.  That’s because the Conference will be in JULY, the 16th through 22nd.  That’s midway between the time when EAZWV and AAZV usually have conferences.  Read about the Conference below, then register.

Continuing Education Credit Hours
There will be 25.7 contact hours of Continuing Education (CE) and 16 CE hours available from workshops.  CE hours are certified by the American College of Zoological Medicine.  The State of New York CE hours certified by ACZM are sponsored by the Wildlife Conservation Society.

Public transportation is available from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.  The easiest way to get to the hotel is using Atlanta’s light rail, MARTA.  The Airport Station is the end of the line, so you can only get the train going into the city.  You’ll be on the red “North Line” or the gold “North East Line;” both make the same stops through downtown Atlanta.  The one way fare is $2.50 USD plus the purchase of the $1 card.  You don’t need to transfer - just stay on the train to the Peachtree Center Station.  The ride will take about 18 minutes.  When you depart the Peachtree Center Station, turn right and go north on Peachtree Street one block to the Hyatt.  You may also use the SuperShuttle or take a taxi.
