NUMBER OF POSITIONS  - 1 pathology residency – starting date July 1, 2010 or when a suitable candidate is found.  Provides advanced training in zoo, wildlife, avian, aquatic and exotic animal pathology.  

Varies, but generally ~ February 28.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Qualified applicants must hold a DVM or equivalent from an accredited college of veterinary medicine, and be eligible for licensure in the State of Wisconsin.  Must be licensed by the State of Wisconsin by the time they start their residency program.  Preference given to individuals with two or more years of residency training in anatomical pathology.

ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS:  If they meet the eligibility requirements

SALARY/ BENEFITS:  $35,000/year plus University of Wisconsin health benefits, funds of continuing education

LENGTH OF COMMITMENT:   Fellowship is usually 2-3 years, but opportunities for a 1 year program with option to renew exist.
